DevOps Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain a Multi‑Cloud Operating Model (MCOM) infrastructure. The role bridges development and operations, focusing on automation, standardized architectural blueprints, and the creation of Packaged Solutions Service (PSS) documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain standardized infrastructure blueprints that define deployable units and cross‑cloud dependencies.
• Provision and manage multi‑cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines with Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and optimise automated deployment pipelines in Jenkins for rapid, secure, and reliable code delivery.
• Diagnose complex environmental issues using logs and traces, addressing root causes.
• Implement ELK stack monitoring and integrate security scanning tools (Veracode, CAST, Qualys) into the delivery lifecycle.
• Author and maintain reference documentation, architectural diagrams and runbooks.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and prompt engineering to accelerate IaC development and automate repetitive workflows.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency in AWS and GCP; Azure experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, able to explain infrastructure concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
