Industrial Engineer

About the role

As an Industrial Engineer at Bosch, you will lead the development and maintenance of standardized work for a key production section (TEF6). You will apply time studies, MTM‑1 analysis and ergonomics to balance operator tasks, create instructions, and support new line installations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and MTM‑1 analyses to define standard times (VT/TEB) and update SAP via CAPP.
• Create and maintain operator instructions (PQIs), capacity tables, line‑balancing charts, bottleneck matrices and production routings.
• Perform ergonomics assessments (Ergo check, IGEL) and drive improvements to achieve green status.
• Design, develop and improve line layouts, selecting accessories and racks according to TEF6 procedures.
• Participate in validation and installation of new production lines or equipment following Bosch internal procedures.
• Lead continuous improvement (CIP) projects, document results and train associates in ergonomics, MTM‑1 and standardized work.
• Support value‑stream teams through daily management, issue resolution and productivity forecasting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of industrial engineering methods, including standardized work, time studies and MTM‑1.
• Experience with ergonomics analysis and improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work with SAP (CAPP) and production planning tools.
• Proactive communication with cross‑functional teams and value‑stream leaders.
