Information Technology Technician

About the role

Webmex Technology is seeking an on‑site Information Technology Technician to join its team in Juárez, Chihuahua. The role involves delivering hands‑on technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to internal users and external clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on‑site.
• Maintain and monitor network equipment, servers, and peripherals.
• Assist with customer service inquiries and deliver user training sessions as needed.
• Implement preventive maintenance measures to reduce system downtime.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an IT support or technical role, preferably on‑site.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and conduct training sessions for staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field preferred (not mandatory).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft are a plus.
