Internal Audit Analyst III

About the role

The Internal Audit Analyst III will join Regal Rexnord’s Corporate Internal Audit team to evaluate business processes, test controls, and support continuous improvement across the organization. This position works closely with divisional controllers and external auditors to ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all audit phases: risk assessment, planning, execution, and results communication.
• Evaluate business processes, identify risks, and assess the efficiency of operational and financial controls.
• Develop detailed work programs, design control tests, review data, and document test work.
• Identify control weaknesses, communicate findings to audit leadership, and assist in preparing audit reports for management.
• Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits, including SOX 404 testing.
• Collaborate with the external audit firm on various projects.
• Apply 80/20 continuous‑improvement principles to drive measurable process enhancements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience planning and executing financial and operational audits.
• Strong understanding of business processes, risks, and controls.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and influence stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and globally.
• Bilingual: native Spanish and professional English proficiency.
• BS in Accounting or a related business field.
