Local IT Specialist

About the role

The Local IT Specialist ensures that the plant’s hardware, software, security policies, license management and inventory are maintained in line with Group standards. The role provides day‑to‑day technical support to users and follows up on the resolution of IT incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Group standards for hardware, software, security policies, software licences and inventory.
• Provide technical support to users and track the resolution of reported IT incidents.
• Develop and monitor the plant’s IT budget, authorising all IT‑related purchases.
• Conduct LPA audits and support internal or external audits.
• Monitor requests for new plant projects that involve IT.
• Enforce user compliance with procedures and coordinate training when needed.
• Monitor critical IT processes and equipment as defined by the Group and the plant.
• Uphold the code of ethics and report any incidents according to Group regulations.
• Share knowledge with other IT technicians and support their duties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or a related field.
• Experience in the automotive industry providing technical support to users.

Required skills

• Computer hardware and peripherals architecture.
• Hardware and software installation and configuration.
• WAN, LAN, wired and wireless networking and telephony.
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server database instructions.
• Windows Server operating system.
