Medical Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

The Arkansas Womens Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our day‑shift team. Working Monday‑Thursday, you will support physicians and ensure smooth patient flow in a busy OB/Gyn clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Stock and prepare exam rooms, and ready patients for appointments.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Maintain clinical equipment and ensure it is functional.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as urine pregnancy tests, urine dipsticks, and non‑stress tests.
• Support other medical staff as needed and rotate through all physicians in the clinic.

Required profile

• Report to the Clinical Supervisor.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program (RMA or CMA).
• Previous clinic experience preferred; OB/Gyn experience is a plus.
