Packaging Design Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Design Operations Coordinator to support creative and packaging artwork activities for 3M in Mexico City. You will work closely with design teams, production art project managers and external agencies to ensure high‑quality branded packaging is delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and update packaging artwork data and track files through final production.
• Review artwork files for alignment, content requirements and brand compliance.
• Assist creative and design teams with packaging production tasks.
• Gain familiarity with die lines, net contents, regulatory text, color usage and printing considerations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and external agencies under senior guidance.
• Participate in problem‑solving discussions to keep artwork aligned with brand standards.
• Follow established workflows, systems and best practices.
• Learn and apply new tools and processes as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent (Certificado de Bachillerato/Preparatoria).
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with consumer packaging or graphic design principles in a corporate, agency or printing environment.
• Interest in consumer goods packaging and ability to manage high volumes, shifting priorities and tight timelines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of packaging design and print production processes.
• Understanding of pre‑press techniques such as offset, flexographic, digital and gravure printing.
• Experience with creative review tools or project‑related software.
