About the role

The Planner, Inventory Deployment plays a pivotal role within the Integrated Business Planning process. This position is responsible for creating an optimized short‑term inventory deployment plan, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective distribution of inventory from breweries to the distribution‑center network. The role works cross‑functionally to monitor plan adherence, manage exceptions, and identify process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory distribution across the network, including allocations from multiple production facilities, distribution centers, and direct‑to‑wholesaler assignments while considering network constraints, forecasted billings, and inventory levels.
• Perform analysis to balance cost‑effective shipping strategies with optimal customer‑service levels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess real‑world constraints and align deployment strategies for upcoming production cycles.
• Maintain planning parameters in systems to generate viable shipment plans that reflect real‑world constraints.
• Review system‑generated shipment recommendations and generate SAP transactions for brewery operations.
• Assist in cost‑saving initiatives and coordinate with brewery operations to create feasible shipment plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, finance, supply chain, production, or optimization roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related business field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Customer‑service orientation, independent decision‑making, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and proven ability to drive process improvements.
• APICS certification is a plus.

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience with APS software.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Ability to execute SAP transactions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
