About the role

Join Volvo's finance team in Tultitlan as a Trainee in Accounts Payable. You will support the processing, review, and control of invoices while ensuring timely payments that keep production lines running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Meet established KPIs, especially the "Paid on Time" metric.
• Verify scanned invoices from the warehouse, confirming amounts, currency, and vendor details against the system.
• Coordinate with Controllership to resolve price, packing, or additional cost discrepancies.
• Participate in review meetings with Purchasing to address blocked invoices.
• Prepare and distribute weekly reports on blocked and released invoices to Purchasing and Controllership.
• Request and manage supplier access to the VVI platform.
• Provide general support to the department and assist with special projects.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Public Accounting, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on KPI compliance.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
