Quality Specialist (QPC) – Customer Quality (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Specialist (QPC) to ensure customer satisfaction by managing complaints, conducting root‑cause analysis and guaranteeing compliance with automotive quality standards. The role is based in Amexhe, Guanajuato and focuses on the customer perspective of product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on customer complaints, coordinating containment actions for quality deviations.
• Lead root‑cause investigations using the 8‑D methodology and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Validate the effectiveness of actions and communicate results to internal teams and customers.
• Apply core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, PSW) and prepare customer deliverables.
• Upload and maintain data in customer portals, monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment and promote a customer‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in Customer Quality within the automotive industry.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Results‑oriented, self‑directed and strong team player.

Required skills

• APQP, Core Tools and PPAP knowledge.
• 8‑D problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis.
• FMEA, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Dimensional results, Product Validation (PV) and Part Submission Warrant (PSW).
• Experience with customer portals (e.g., Nexteer).
