About the role
FORVIA HELLA is seeking a Quality Specialist (QPC) to drive customer‑focused quality initiatives in its Guanajuato plant. You will act as the main liaison for customers on quality matters, ensuring complaints are resolved, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are effective.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on customer complaints, coordinating containment actions.
- Lead 8D root‑cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support engineering change requests related to customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain customer deliverables such as FMEA, flowcharts, control plans, MSA, dimensional results, product validation, and PSW.
- Upload data to customer portals and monitor key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams to promote continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2‑3 years of experience in customer quality within the automotive sector.
- Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Required skills
- APQP, Core Tools, PPAP.
- 8D problem‑solving methodology.
- FMEA, flowcharts, control plans, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), dimensional analysis.
- Product Validation (PV) and Part Submission Warrant (PSW).
- Experience with customer portals (e.g., Nexteer).
