Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to lead audit activities across our manufacturing complex in LATAM. The role involves analyzing financial data, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits and review internal controls of various organizational and functional areas.
• Serve as auditor‑in‑charge during site visits, including risk assessment, data collection, and interviews.
• Lead walkthrough meetings to understand processes, identify risks, and evaluate mitigating controls.
• Test operating effectiveness of key financial controls and review financial statement balances.
• Prepare work papers, written summaries, and present findings to senior audit management.
• Review quarterly Sarbanes‑Oxley 404 self‑assessments and assess impact of business process changes.
• Assist external auditors with quarter‑end and year‑end procedures.
• Maintain audit and compliance software and stay updated on audit standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional experience in internal audit or related finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with internal business partners and work collaboratively.
