Aviation Senior Project Manager – LATAM

About the role

AECOM LATAM is looking for an experienced Aviation Senior Project Manager to lead complex aviation projects from our Mexico City or Panama City offices. The role involves driving growth initiatives, managing client relationships, and ensuring project profitability across the Latin American region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LATAM Transportation leadership to execute project‑level growth initiatives and align aviation contracts with regional business goals.
• Lead the capture process for key aviation bids, delivering competitive and realistic technical proposals.
• Manage key client accounts, maintain high satisfaction ratings, and identify follow‑on opportunities.
• Collaborate with LATAM Delivery and Operations teams to implement standardized execution processes.
• Oversee project budgets, financial performance, and cost‑control measures.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
• Drive stakeholder communication, delivering regular status updates and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in the LATAM aviation sector, or equivalent education and experience.
• Proven business‑development experience with strong relationships with aviation clients across Latin America.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
