Finance Manager – Mexico

About the role

The Finance Manager will support NBCUniversal’s LATAM International Networks & Direct‑to‑Consumer finance organization in Mexico. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the role ensures timely and accurate monthly financial closings in accordance with US GAAP and local Mexican regulations, while driving compliance and financial reporting excellence across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day accounting processes, including preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual trial balances.
• Lead the monthly close, preparing journal entries, accruals and intercompany transactions.
• Validate and review the monthly reporting package, translating IFRS results to US GAAP.
• Collaborate with an external accounting firm to meet statutory reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with US and Mexican GAAP, and support external audit activities.
• Provide analysis of financial results and support decision‑making for the Mexico entity.

Required profile

• Professional experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a multinational media or entertainment environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Mexican statutory reporting.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, international colleagues and external auditors.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
