Front-End Developer – Lit & Web Components

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Front‑End Developer to create reusable, framework‑agnostic UI components using Lit and native Web Components. This contract position will have a direct impact on our Design System and support cross‑team tooling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build reusable, browser‑native Web Components with Lit and TypeScript.
• Develop and run integration tests using Playwright.
• Write modern, framework‑independent CSS (Grid, Flexbox, Custom Properties).
• Work with Shadow DOM, applying best‑practice patterns.
• Create and maintain lightweight tools and scripts for multiple teams.
• Implement and manage design tokens across platforms.
• Contribute to Angular 11+ applications when needed.
• Maintain clean Git workflows with semantic commits and changelog‑friendly PRs.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to boost productivity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing clear documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional front‑end experience.
• Strong expertise in modern CSS without relying on UI frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with native Web Components and Shadow DOM.
• Proficiency in the latest TypeScript.
• Experience building tooling for multi‑team environments.
• Knowledge of design‑token pipelines.
• Node.js scripting experience.
• Solid understanding of Git strategies for automated changelogs.
• Familiarity with AI‑augmented development workflows.
• Experience with Angular 11+ and Lit/LitElement.
