GT MFE Manager (Toluca)

About the role

Marelli is seeking a GT MFE Manager to join its Engineering – GT Toluca team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and based at the Toluca office, you will lead the development of new manufacturing processes and ensure technical excellence for automotive products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop technical specifications for new manufacturing processes.
• Select technologies that guarantee quality and precision for target product assembly.
• Participate in project timeline planning, coordination, and monitoring for current and new initiatives.
• Plan and manage Capex/OPEX budgets to support project launches and engineering changes.
• Conduct technical evaluations to support decision‑making on footprint optimization and strategic projects.
• Promote and maintain the Marelli IATF quality management system.
• Implement innovative systems to achieve plant KPIs and ensure sustainability.
• Manage advanced product quality planning related to engineering.
• Oversee engineering team activities addressing customer complaints.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to define corrective actions for process defects.
• Manage internal and customer pilot activities and production readiness tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering management within automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, preferably IATF.
• Ability to manage budgets (Capex/OPEX) and lead cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent analytical skills for technical evaluations and process optimization.
