HR Generalist

About the role

Autoliv is seeking an HR Generalist to drive data‑focused HR initiatives on the shop floor. You will partner with supervisors and plant leadership to improve retention, workforce stability, and overall HR effectiveness in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage data analytics to build Power BI dashboards, track HR KPIs, control headcount, and implement data‑driven actions that boost retention and stability.
• Design and execute recruitment and retention strategies for a unionized workforce, ensuring strong pipeline management and efficient hiring processes.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and transformation projects, identify root causes, automate HR processes, and foster a culture of efficiency and agility.
• Act as a strategic HR partner on the shop floor, influencing decisions, supporting cultural transformation, and operating with a high sense of urgency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with proven HR experience in industrial/manufacturing settings, including exposure to shop‑floor dynamics and union populations.
• Advanced English proficiency and ability to work in a global, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong analytical and digital mindset with experience in data analytics, KPI management, dashboard creation, and process automation.
• Operational agility and resilience; ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments, manage time effectively, and be available for shift work, including nights if required.
