In-House Lawyer (Americas)

About the role

HBX Group is looking for a senior commercial legal advisor to provide in‑house legal support for all business units across the Americas. The role partners with commercial, tax, finance and operations teams and, when required, external counsel, suppliers and hotels to help achieve the company’s strategic and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders across the region.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements aligned with business objectives.
• Advise on cross‑border legal implications for strategic projects.
• Identify, monitor and mitigate legal risks within the Americas.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, suppliers, hotels and other third parties.
• Manage a high volume of legal work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Contribute to the development of legal frameworks, process improvements and risk‑mitigation initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure with a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Strong in‑house experience handling high‑volume workloads with meticulous attention to detail.
• Preferable experience in the travel industry.
• Experience working in a large multinational environment is highly desirable.
