IT Site Administrator – Technical Support

About the role

The IT Site Administrator provides on‑site and remote technical support to end users across the local site and other ESAB locations in the region. Using tools such as phone, email, Teams and TeamViewer, the administrator resolves incidents, fulfills service requests and ensures smooth operation of the IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to calls, tickets and emails, documenting steps and tracking resolution times.
• Troubleshoot Windows clients, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, printing, and Active Directory issues.
• Support local servers, backup solutions, LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi networks, and hardware installations.
• Maintain licenses, warranties, inventories and system documentation.
• Lead technical projects and participate in global ESAB IT initiatives.
• Escalate tickets promptly and develop standards for applications and technology.
• Provide end‑user training and act as the local liaison for remote L3 support teams.
