Technical Application Engineer – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

Varicent is looking for a Technical Application Engineer to join its Technical Support team. The role is fully remote and serves customers in Mexico, helping them adopt and maximise the value of Varicent’s SaaS revenue‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical assistance to SaaS users, troubleshooting issues via video, email and CRM tools.
• Reproduce and diagnose problems, work with product and development teams to report bugs and suggest enhancements.
• Maintain high client satisfaction by delivering clear, step‑by‑step technical instructions.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless adoption of Varicent’s solutions.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on technical experience supporting SaaS applications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and coordinate activities with global teams.

Required skills

• Experience with SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write SQL scripts.
• Familiarity with client‑server architecture.
