About the role
We are seeking a Master Planner Team Leader to drive production planning across multiple manufacturing processes. The role will lead a planning team, translate assembly demand into detailed production schedules, and ensure seamless integration with SAP and nesting software.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the production planning team, aligning priorities and workload.
- Translate assembly demand into detailed production plans for punching, bending, welding, and painting.
- Drive daily and weekly planning routines, set clear priorities and accountability.
- Manage and release production orders in SAP with high data accuracy.
- Integrate orders into WICAM, optimizing material utilization and nesting efficiency.
- Serve as primary communication bridge between assembly, production, logistics, and planning.
- Proactively manage constraints, bottlenecks, and capacity imbalances.
- Monitor KPIs, especially on‑time delivery, and lead action plans to close gaps.
- Coach team members in problem‑solving, prioritization, and system usage.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and results orientation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning.
- Proven experience leading or coordinating planning teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of multi‑process manufacturing operations (punching, bending, welding, painting).
- Advanced understanding of SAP PP/MM and MRP/MPS concepts.
- Experience with nesting software such as WICAM (preferred).
