Maximo Production Support Engineer (AMS)

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Maximo Production Support Engineer to join its AMS team in Monterrey, Mexico. The engineer will support IBM Maximo environments for a major client, ensuring application stability, handling incidents and service requests, and assisting with production enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for IBM Maximo applications.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and user‑reported issues within SLA timelines.
• Support core Maximo modules such as Asset Management, Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory Management and Purchasing.
• Analyze application logs, identify root causes and configure security groups, domains, application designer, database settings, workflows, escalations and cron tasks.
• Maintain and monitor the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and related interfaces.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, DBA and integration teams to resolve cross‑functional issues.
• Assist with deployments, testing activities and post‑deployment validation.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on‑call and after‑hours support as required.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo in a production environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience handling L2/L3 incidents and working within defined SLA windows.
• Ability to collaborate with infrastructure, DBA and integration teams.

Required skills

• IBM Maximo (core modules: Asset Management, Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory Management, Purchasing).
• Security configuration, Application Designer, Domains, Workflows, Cron Tasks, Escalations.
• Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and interface monitoring.
• SQL query and troubleshooting.
• REST and SOAP integration techniques.
• Basic knowledge of cloud‑based deployments (OpenShift) and SAP integrations (preferred).
• Familiarity with Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9), Automation Scripts and BIRT Reporting (preferred).
