Mid-level Full Stack Engineer (Hiring Events Platform)

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Engineer to join the team responsible for a live Hiring Events platform. You will work in a high-production, real-time environment, handling both backend and frontend tasks while collaborating with client support and go-to-market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve production issues for live hiring events.
• Collaborate with Client Support and GTM teams to prioritize support requests.
• Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Maintain and enhance backend services built with Java, Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Develop and improve frontend experiences using React.
• Own deployments, code merges and production releases.
• Mentor and onboard new engineers.
• Participate in architectural updates and integration work.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong ownership and ability to ramp up quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (upper-intermediate).
• Proven experience troubleshooting live production systems.
