Postsecondary Economics Teacher for AI Training (Remote)

About the role

Alignerr is seeking experienced postsecondary economics instructors to help shape the next generation of AI systems that reason about economics. This remote, task‑based contract lets you apply your classroom expertise to evaluate and improve AI‑generated economic content.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review economics questions and scenarios used to train and evaluate AI models.
• Assess the accuracy, clarity, and depth of AI‑generated economics content.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to enhance economic reasoning in model outputs.
• Validate concepts, edge cases, and explanations using real‑world teaching experience.
• Work independently and asynchronously, managing 10–40 hours per week.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑time teaching experience in economics at the postsecondary level.
• Strong command of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics.
• Ability to clearly explain and critically evaluate economic reasoning in written form.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with content evaluation workflows.
