Purchasing Supervisor – Manufacturing Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for daily operational and project‑based procurement for the Mexico Service & Management Platform. You will ensure that purchases of products, services, materials, and equipment meet quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements while supporting supplier management and cross‑department coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full purchasing cycle from quotation requests to purchase order issuance.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Analyze purchasing costs, identify savings opportunities, and drive process improvements.
• Support procurement for construction, facilities, IT, security, administrative services, and special projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments to capture requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supplier‑management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, market analysis, and purchase order management.
• Knowledge of legal and tax regulations related to purchasing processes.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with global teams.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Intermediate knowledge of SAP.
