Procurement Purchasing Specialist (PC&L)

About the role

The Procurement Purchasing Specialist (PC&L) will plan, optimize and accelerate the acquisition, contracting and delivery of goods and services needed by the PC&L team. You will ensure the best quality and price conditions while supporting Magna Powertrain’s automotive projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and streamline purchasing activities for materials, services and assets.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Utilize SAP for order processing, inventory control (Min/Max) and budget tracking.
• Develop and maintain purchase policies, cost structures and warranty claim processes.
• Prepare legal documents and contracts for new suppliers.
• Analyze complex problems, make evidence‑based decisions and ensure compliance with IATF16949/ISO9001.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply‑chain processes and cost structures.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Leadership, project‑management and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under defined deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
