Reliability/FA Engineer 2

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Reliability/FA Engineer 2 to join its high‑performance analog semiconductor team. In this role you will evaluate materials, processes and components from a reliability perspective and work closely with design engineers to ensure product robustness.

Key responsibilities

• Assess materials, properties and production techniques to determine reliability impacts.
• Advise design engineering on component selection, application and testing.
• Recommend design and test methods, including statistical process control, to meet reliability targets.
• Define reliability requirements for components and systems to satisfy company, customer and regulatory objectives.
• Develop new acceleration techniques and analytical tools for early detection of potential issues.
• Propose design or formulation changes to improve system and process reliability.

Required profile

• Experience in reliability engineering or failure analysis within an electronics or semiconductor environment.
• Strong understanding of statistical process control and accelerated life testing methods.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical recommendations.
