Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Mobile Fuel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead mobile fuel procurement for FedEx Express. The role focuses on ensuring reliable fuel supply, cost optimisation and supplier performance across our global transportation network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for diesel and mobile fuel commodities.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes including RFP/RFQ creation, supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet Management, Finance and Legal teams to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics and total cost of ownership to drive cost savings.
• Oversee contract administration and vendor performance management to ensure compliance and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management, preferably in fuel, energy or transportation categories.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts in a global environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1‑C2).
