Supply & Logistics Associate (GS-6) – 8-month Parental Cover

About the role

UNICEF Mexico is seeking a Supply and Logistics Associate (GS-6) on an eight‑month parental‑cover contract. The role supports the central team in delivering essential supplies and logistics services across the country, ensuring timely procurement, warehousing, and distribution to programme sites.

Key responsibilities

• Support supply and procurement planning for UNICEF programmes.
• Manage procurement and contracting processes in‑country.
• Coordinate in‑country logistics, including transport and customs clearance.
• Oversee warehousing operations and inventory management.
• Facilitate partnership, coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to localisation and emergency preparedness activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Officer.

Required profile

• Completion of secondary education.
• Relevant work experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics (as indicated in the full Terms of Reference).
• Ability to work independently and handle complex cases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
