Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Tax Manager to lead our tax strategy, compliance and financial risk management initiatives. In this role you will ensure the organization remains ahead of a complex regulatory environment while aligning tax objectives with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust tax plans and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee timely filing of tax returns, including ISR, VAT, ISAN and other obligations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct daily income reconciliations and manage VAT matching.
• Monitor SAT communications and handle customs declarations.
• Lead tax audits, respond to authority inquiries and manage notifications.
• Provide expert guidance on tax planning and risk mitigation.
• Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of SAT web and Mexican tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience leading finance teams and managing complex tax operations.
