Vehicle Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Vehicle Logistics Specialist will generate reports and indicators related to finished vehicle logistics, monitor inventory levels, delivery lead times and logistics costs, and ensure effective communication with logistics suppliers and the dealer network. The role focuses on managing and optimizing logistics processes to achieve timely, cost‑effective, and efficient vehicle distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KPI reports for logistics suppliers to support continuous improvement.
• Prepare inventory reports to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate daily operations among the Vehicle Distribution Center (VDC), logistics suppliers, and customs, sharing updates and monitoring tracking status.
• Support port logistics, including unit arrivals, customs declarations, release, and carrier assignments.
• Monitor and enforce KPI compliance for port‑related suppliers.
• Prepare and submit payment orders to logistics suppliers, confirm invoice acceptance, and track payment status.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers and vendors.
• Provide timely vehicle status updates to internal clients such as sales, distribution, and finance teams.
• Serve as primary contact with the insurance provider, handling claims and policy renewals.
• Manage accessories inventory at port and support internal teams and logistics vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive supply chain, transportation, vehicle logistics, or customs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good English proficiency.
• Target‑oriented mindset with solid negotiation abilities.
