Academic Supervisor – English Language Teaching

About the role

The Anglo Foundation is looking for an Academic Supervisor to lead the quality of English language teaching in Mexico City. The role focuses on enhancing faculty performance, monitoring student progress and driving continuous improvement to boost student reenrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in faculty recruitment, onboarding and professional development, aligning learning pathways with institutional standards.
• Conduct classroom observations, review lesson plans and provide individual and group feedback to teachers.
• Identify students at academic risk through progress reports and attendance data, and intervene promptly.
• Develop schedules, assign faculty and manage academic and administrative incidents to ensure operational continuity.
• Analyze student experience and quality data to design and implement improvement action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching or a related field.
• Minimum two years experience as an Academic Supervisor (or similar) and five years teaching English.
• Advanced English proficiency (C2), preferably Cambridge certification.
• Certification in English language teaching methodology.
• Experience as a Teacher Trainer is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Mexico City and the Greater Metropolitan Area.
