Account Manager – B2B E‑commerce (Mexico City)

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to join Alibaba.com’s growing sales team in Mexico City. You will act as the main point of contact for Mexican merchants, helping them launch and grow their businesses on our global B2B marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard and manage a portfolio of Mexican merchants, ensuring they are active, equipped, and supported from day one.
• Drive monthly product launches by guiding merchants through listing creation, quality checks, and compliance.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve policy violations, protect buyer response rates, and safeguard seller reputation through review and shipping management.
• Optimize listings and inventory accuracy using AI‑powered tools and data dashboards.
• Support membership renewals, handling documentation and timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, customer success, e‑commerce operations or B2B supplier management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple accounts.
• Self‑driven and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Experience with cross‑border e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Alibaba.com, Amazon, MercadoLibre) is a plus.
