Accountant – Finance Support – Reforma, Chiapas

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Accountant to join its Finance Support team in Reforma, Chiapas. The role offers exposure to general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, and reporting within a leading global energy services company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal vouchers for various accounting transactions.
• Generate accounting reports and conduct increasingly complex analyses using spreadsheets and specialized applications.
• Research, resolve, and document basic accounting issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the assigned location and department.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business processes and improve financial procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to work under general supervision while developing technical expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in budget analysis.
