Accountant – Full‑time, Mexico City

About the role

The organization is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its team in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area. You will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and supporting the organization’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and reconcile bank accounts.
• Handle budget management and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide financial analysis, generate accurate reports and financial projections.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Strong financial management and accounting expertise, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and reporting.
• Experience with financial compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or other ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Previous experience in non‑profit or awards‑related organizations is an advantage.
