Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s financial activities and provide financial advice to management, ensuring sound business decisions. Working closely with the Controller, the role guarantees that accounting procedures align with generally accepted accounting principles.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and recommend major corporate economic strategies, objectives, and policies.
• Assist in developing proposals for efficiency and profit improvements.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.
• Support the preparation and submission of sales tax returns and coordinate with corporate headquarters on income tax and statistical returns.
• Deploy and update accounting procedures and policies to meet company and group requirements.
• Assist in financial accounting system improvements across general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets, AR, AP, reporting, planning and budgeting.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure coordination with Franke group financial policies and standards.
• Collaborate on periodic physical inventories with the Controller.
• Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting business activity, income, expenses, and earnings.
• Support budget preparation, proposals, and documentation.
• Assist with audits of company accounts.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on employee relations matters.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to provide financial advice and support to management.
• Capability to work closely with the Controller on accounting procedures.
• Reliable attendance is mandatory.
