Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the finance function for the local market, ensuring financial integrity, compliance with IFRS and local GAAP, and effective stakeholder management. This position partners with business leaders to drive sound financial decisions and supports global initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee pre‑close and month‑end close processes, including balance‑sheet review, variance analysis, journal entry definition and approval.
• Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting under IFRS/local GAAP, holding accountability for the financial statements.
• Maintain robust financial controls, aligning with regulatory requirements and corporate risk policies.
• Manage external audit relationships, coordinate timing, and address any required financial adjustments.
• Drive governance, risk escalation, and financial discipline across the market.
• Participate in global and local projects such as capital reductions, legal entity mergers, and divestments.
• Act as a trusted advisor and business partner, influencing decision‑making and talent development within finance.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent degree.
• Proven experience in controlling and management reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and financial systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
