Accounting & Reconciliation Analyst

About the role

Ford’s U.S. Employee Payments Team is seeking an Accounting & Reconciliation Analyst to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation. The role focuses on processing payroll, maintaining compliance with federal, state and UAW regulations, and supporting year‑end tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions across multiple platforms in line with federal, state, regional and UAW collective bargaining guidelines.
• Audit payroll runs, perform pre‑validation checks and conduct variance analysis for earnings, tax deductions and other pay elements.
• Prepare operational metrics and slide decks for quarterly review meetings, including balance adjustments and W‑2/W‑2C statistics.
• Execute balance adjustments and corrections for current and prior tax years, collaborating with Earnings, Cash Application and Receivables teams.
• Manage year‑end W‑2 processes, coordinate with internal HR areas and external partners, and maintain the W‑2 task checklist.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and work closely with HR, Labor Affairs, finance and external service providers.

Required profile

• Experience with U.S. payroll processing and a solid understanding of federal, state and local payroll regulations.
• Familiarity with UAW collective bargaining agreements and related pay rules.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail for variance analysis and audit tasks.
• Ability to collaborate across HR, finance, external partners and internal service teams.
