Advanced Harness Design Engineer

About the role

As an Advanced Harness Design Engineer you will join Bosch's Consumer Goods product development team, focusing on hardware engineering for wire harness design and routing. You will contribute to the creation of high‑quality, cost‑effective products that meet safety, manufacturing and market requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain wire harnesses, schematics and 2D/3D drawings for components, sub‑modules and appliances.
• Define functional electrical requirements for connectors, terminals, switches and related parts.
• Act as the technical interface for hardware clarification with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare drawings, release Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical data in the PLM system.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and conduct risk assessments.
• Support cost estimation, topology definition and concept development.
• Specify testing parameters, oversee execution and compile validation documentation.
• Collaborate with product management, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, suppliers and mechanical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Teamcenter and NX‑CAD software.
• Experience with PLM systems and BOM release processes.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, ECR management and GD&T.
• Familiarity with 8D, Six Sigma or DOE methodologies is a plus.
• Experience in cooking‑related products is an added advantage.
