Aftermarket Materials Planner

About the role

Carrier is looking for an Aftermarket Materials Planner to join its North America Residential Operations team. The role ensures that the right materials are available at the right time to keep manufacturing lines running smoothly while controlling inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material planning strategies to guarantee timely availability of materials for manufacturing.
• Manage purchase orders and work closely with suppliers to maintain delivery performance and supply continuity.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze material requirements and take actions to improve accuracy while reducing shortages and excess stock.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve supply‑chain issues and drive continuous process improvements.
• Analyze planning and inventory data, prepare performance reports and support key supply‑chain metrics such as on‑time delivery and material availability.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory planning, purchasing or supply‑chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards or similar.
