AI/ML Data Analyst – Queretaro

About the role

The AI/ML Data Analyst will join PPG’s Data Lake team in Queretaro, supporting the creation of minimum viable product data sets for AI and machine learning initiatives. Working closely with product, data science and MLOps teams, you will ensure that high‑quality data is available for rapid experimentation and stable production deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with AI/ML product teams to identify data needs for experiments and production.
• Support Data Analysts, Data Scientists and MLOps engineers in building optimized data models, pipelines and frameworks.
• Design and implement pipelines to ingest, clean and transform structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data (text, images, PDFs, etc.).
• Perform data profiling, validation and anomaly detection to catch quality issues early.
• Build vector databases for semantic search and retrieval of unstructured content.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to design end‑to‑end generative AI solutions.
• Deliver clean, error‑free MVP‑ready data models.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with ETL/ELT workflow design, configuration, data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and business intelligence concepts.
• Experience working with Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark.
• Proficiency in complex SQL development.
• Fluent English communication skills.
