Airport Cost Control Sr Analyst

About the role

As an Airport Cost Control Senior Analyst at Viva, you will monitor, analyze and optimise operating costs related to airport services and ground handling across the airline’s network. You will work closely with Airport Operations, Finance and other cross‑functional teams to provide insights that drive cost‑efficient decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse and present operating costs associated with airport services and ground handling.
• Analyse cost variances and prepare reports for operational leadership, including budget and forecast impact assessments.
• Monitor operational efficiency indicators and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Prepare and record accounting entries in SAP related to airport operating expenses.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of airport service and ground handling costs with financial controls.
• Provide financial support to airport operational teams and collaborate on cost‑saving initiatives.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor cost performance and operational trends.
• Participate in special projects focused on budgeting, cost management and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align operational initiatives with financial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, cost control, FP&A or operational finance.
• Experience analysing financial data, cost variances, budgets and forecasts.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Basic English proficiency and strong analytical, communication and collaboration abilities.
