Analista de Impuestos (IVA)

About the role

The Tax Analyst will support the company’s compliance with Value Added Tax (IVA) regulations by reviewing accounting records, ensuring proper tax treatment of transactions, and responding to requests from the tax authority (SAT). This position is ideal for a recent accounting graduate or a professional with up to one year of tax‑calculation experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate IVA records for third‑party operations using fiscal receipts.
• Cross‑check information provided by the accounting department to meet tax authority requirements.
• Ensure correct application of tax laws and integrate any data requested by the SAT.
• Manage accounting files, calculate tax refunds and compensations, and maintain records of taxes withheld from suppliers.
• Support the preparation of VAT‑related reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting (recent graduate or near graduation).
• At least 1 year of experience in tax calculation and accounting records.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
