Analyst, Supply & Logistics

About the role

The Analyst, Supply & Logistics will coordinate customs brokers, logistics providers, external warehouses and internal partners to ensure the smooth importation of components for Whirlpool’s manufacturing facilities in Mexico. The role drives strategic initiatives, conducts root‑cause analysis and implements process improvements across North American import operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customs brokers, logistics providers, external warehouses and internal partners for component imports.
• Identify and execute strategic initiatives and analyses for North American import operations, owning the process from origin to final delivery.
• Resolve issues between suppliers, ocean carriers, VMI warehouses, factories, freight forwarders and customs brokers to protect best‑cost outcomes.
• Log and mitigate non‑standard spend in international transportation, providing root‑cause resolutions.
• Lead financial outlook activities, gather data, analyze spend gaps and monitor non‑standard costs.
• Provide accurate shipping instructions for ocean and air expedites and create FedEx shipment labels for imports.
• Generate best‑cost freight quotes and coordinate one‑off shipments for plant relocations.
• Collaborate with third‑party logistics providers, overseas suppliers and various Whirlpool functions, and serve as backup for team members.

Required profile

• Experience in international logistics, import/export, and customs brokerage coordination.
• Strong analytical and root‑cause problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with suppliers, carriers, warehouses and internal stakeholders.
• Financial acumen to develop spend outlooks and monitor cost variances.
