Android Software Engineer

About the role

Insulet is seeking a self‑motivated Software Engineer to join its Mobile Applications Center of Excellence. You will design, build, and deliver medical‑grade Android applications and SDKs that directly improve the lives of people living with diabetes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional technology groups to define, design, test, and deploy new features.
• Work alongside senior developers to build the next‑generation cloud‑based mobile platform for future patient‑ and device‑centric products.
• Present simple design proposals to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code; troubleshoot and debug to optimise performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
