Architectural Designer - Commercial Interiors

About the role

We are looking for a design‑focused Architectural Designer to join a leading U.S. commercial furniture dealer. You will work on a close‑knit team to create innovative workspace solutions using CET Designer and related tools, supporting both sales and marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present visually compelling workspace concepts with CET Designer and AutoCAD.
• Create accurate drawings, specifications, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Select finishes, furniture, and material palettes that align with client expectations.
• Review architectural plans, conduct code analyses, and integrate site conditions.
• Perform field verifications, inventories, and measurements to ensure design accuracy.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and project teams, providing timely updates and incorporating feedback.
• Quality‑check all deliverables before distribution to stakeholders.
• Prepare final documentation for order entry, installation, and as‑built drawings.
• Provide technical drawings and coordination details to external partners such as A&D firms and contractors.
• Stay current on design trends, tools, and standards through training and industry events.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial furniture, workspace design, or a similar industry.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple fast‑paced projects.
• Proactive learner comfortable with new software and workflows.
