Architectural Fit-Out Engineer

About the role

The Architectural Fit‑Out Engineer will support the delivery of the STM300 expansion project in Santa Teresa, Guanajuato, by coordinating architectural design, supervising on‑site fit‑out activities and ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy standards and local regulations. The role involves daily interaction with contractors, designers and internal teams to resolve technical issues, monitor quality and manage multidisciplinary interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural and fit‑out design packages to align with Siemens Energy standards, functional requirements and approved scope.
• Supervise on‑site architectural and fit‑out works, ensuring execution follows drawings, specifications and approved submittals.
• Verify materials, finishes and workmanship through inspections, mock‑ups and sample approvals to maintain quality standards.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and constructability issues across architectural, MEP, civil and structural interfaces.
• Participate in walk‑downs, punch‑list activities and hand‑over processes to ensure complete and compliant delivery.
• Track progress, manage non‑conformities and review as‑built drawings and O&M documentation related to the architectural scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural and fit‑out works for industrial or large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural drawings, details, schedules and technical specifications.
• Solid knowledge of building codes, fire and life‑safety requirements and international architectural standards.
• Proven experience coordinating with contractors, designers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency with strong communication, organisation and documentation skills.
