Assistant Controller – Finance & Treasury

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join a global FMCG leader. The role combines oversight of accounting, treasury, and internal controls while supporting system migrations and data validation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Review and oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations for cash, AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, accruals and inter‑company accounts.
• Analyze financial variances, propose corrective actions and monitor cash‑flow and treasury operations.
• Manage payment terms, collections performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal control policies and support cross‑functional projects.
• Assist with system migration and data validation for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in accounting, treasury or internal control roles.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience in shared services environments, preferably within global or FMCG companies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills.

What we offer

• Salary between 70,000‑85,000 MXN gross monthly plus statutory benefits.
• Hybrid work model – 2 days onsite in Polanco, Mexico City.
• Standard office hours (9:00 AM‑6:00 PM).
