Associate – Transfer Pricing (Tax)

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal Mexico is seeking an Associate to join its Transfer Pricing practice. You will work alongside experienced economists and valuation specialists to develop defensible, client‑focused transfer pricing strategies that comply with OECD guidelines and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing and delivering robust transfer pricing strategies and inter‑company pricing structures.
• Support financial and economic benchmarking, comparable company studies, and functional analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, technical memoranda, and opinions.
• Develop transfer pricing models and compute tax impacts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to lead client discussions, present findings, and manage compliance or controversy matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6–8 years of tax consulting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, time‑sensitive environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint.
