Automotive Technical Trainer

About the role

You will lead the design, delivery and management of technical training programs for Nissan's dealer network in Mexico City. The role combines project management, curriculum development and hands‑on instruction to ensure technicians are equipped with the latest automotive knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end training process for the dealer network, including budgeting, purchasing and supplier coordination.
• Communicate and support dealer training areas, proposing tailored training and career plans aligned with KPIs.
• Measure staff turnover and performance metrics, recommending strategies to maintain high training standards.
• Plan, execute and deliver technical training sessions as the primary instructor.
• Customize training content for different audiences, products and service environments.
• Develop clear technical presentations and learning materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, delivering and managing training programs in an OEM automotive environment.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and leadership abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Solid technical automotive knowledge (engines, transmissions, diagnostics, CAN, ADAS, etc.).
• Fluent English (spoken and written) with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience and a degree in automotive, industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % of the time.
